I had lunch with a friend yesterday, the president of a growing startup in downtown Denver. Since leaving a successful career in large companies, he’s reveled in the joys of entrepreneurship. He loves the passion and energy of entrepreneurs. He loves hanging out with entrepreneurs and hearing their stories. He loves the spirit of entrepreneurs.

When I attended a series of workshops with Michael Gerber, author of the E-Myth Revisited, one of the things he said that stuck in head was this: Change only happens in the world through entrepreneurs.

Some people may disagree with this statement. Whether you agree with it or not, it’s an intriguing idea.

And after seeing this video about an extraordinary entrepreneur, Joe Levy, I understand why Gerber says what he says and why my friend feels the way he feels. Levy was honored by Northwestern University’s business school, Kellogg, as their Master Entrepreneur for 2006. It’s a delightful and moving video about the power of one entrepreneur to touch and transform the world around him.
