Many of you who have followed this blog for awhile have seen my postings about the interviews I did with my friend, Ilene Kouzel, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2004. Ilene died last October, just weeks after releasing the first interview as part of the podcast, Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving. The team putting the rest of the programs for the podcast together took a break after Ilene’s death. As we started up again, it took some getting used to not having Ilene’s voice in the mix. Her spirit still pervades our meetings and we’re grateful for that.
Work is healing, and the team has released the second program. Here’s the announcement:
Listen to the second program on iTunes by clicking on the following link: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=192731858
or going to the Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving site, www.consciousliving-leaving.com.
In a conversation titled “Who Are These People,” taped a few months before Ilene’s death, she and Carol reminisce about the paths that brought them together. The two women share their professional backgrounds with you, how they met, developed and deepened their friendship and why they decided to create this podcast series.
This program provides insights into Carol and Ilene’s character, humor, and their passionate desire to reveal the richness of their conversations about living and dying well with a larger audience. In the months to come, more programs from the ten-plus hours of interviews will become available for your listening.
