My five-year old niece came to visit me recently. Her parents had taken her to the opening of a new mall in Boulder and as part of the celebration, they had face painting for the kids.

Nora was so excited about how her face had transformed her into a fairy, that she wanted to stop and show someone before heading home. We took pictures in my backyard and after seeing the pictures, it was obvious that she had gained a new nickname, Nora, The Woodland Fairy. 

If only we all could see ourselves in a different light with a little face paint……
