Blog Makeover

You may have noticed a new look and feel to this blog. I’ve undergone a "blog makeover’ or more accurately, evolved to Version 2 of my blog.  My thanks to Sandra De Freitas, known as The Coach’s Tech Coach, for her diligent work in bringing Version 2 to life.

A few things you’ll notice about this new version:

  • I’ve created categories of postings. Check out the right hand menu.
  • I’m using a new service, Feedblitz, for automatically emailing blog postings to you. This service is MUCH more reliable than the old service, Bloglet, so if you are not getting this blog as a "feed" consider signing up for the Feedblitz service. Check out the right hand menu to sign up.
  • If you are not already a subscriber to my monthly ezine, you can easily subscribe on the blog. See the left hand menu.
  • If you are a blogger yourself, I now have the trackback capability. If you’re not a blogger, this is NOT a feature you need know about.

On another note, I’ve moved to a different service for the blogging software (from Blogger to Typepad).  As part of the move, my old postings were imported to a new server. And in the process, the formatting got removed–no paragraphs, links, bolding.  So I spent all of last week reading through each posting, all 104 of them, and reformatting.  Little did I know that this would be such a gift. On one day in a particular, I was in a real funk and reading my own writing, from as long ago as last July was like self-coaching.  Remembering what I know and how good my life is works like a charm.

I think the lesson is that we all know how good life can be. We just have to be reminded.
