Okay, now that I’ve invested some time in my Squidoo lens on whole brain thinking, I’m getting a rush by seeing the lens ranking change each time I add something.

Last week, when all the stuff on it was a year old and bare bones, I was around 70,000 for the lens ranking. Adding in some book reviews and websites got me to a ranking around 17,000.  Adding in a few blog postings and announcing the Squidoo url on this blog (resulting in a bit of traffic) got me to a ranking of 4,288.  I just added in a few articles and a place to provide comments, so I’ll be curious to see what happens tomorrow.

Squidoo rewards freshness of content and indirectly, relevance and quality of content to proposed topic (as evidenced by number of visitors and number of click throughs on the Google ads).  I get a kick out of discovering the levers that make the machine go….
