A terrific blog I’ve been reading lately is one written by Suzanne Falter-Barns. Just like William Arruda’s blog, if you take the time to read through her postings, you’ll get a quick education on a specific topic. In this case, I’ve learned alot about what I could be doing to increase traffic on my blog and some of the basic knowledge about blogs that I’ve been missing.
This is pointing to how other people’s blogs are fitting into my world right now–as a way to come up to a speed in a specific area. I find that the blog postings have so much more valuable content than website copy.
Other people read blogs for different purposes. To be entertained, to be inspired, to follow a storyline. So now I’m curious. Why do you read this blog?

Why do I read this blog? Cause I love you! I also love your perspective and humor and it’s fun to “visit” with you, see what’s going on in your world/passing through your mind/getting you jazzed.
And I generally read blogs to get inspired by the creative folks out there who have such interesting takes on the world around them. C.S. Lewis said “We read to know we are not alone,” and I think that’s kinda why I read blogs. To feel connected to a tribe of people who are quietly changing their own lives and others through the power of communication – fueled by passion and spirit. (and you’re one of them, absolutely girlene!) xo D
Thanks, Deb, for stopping by. You’ve reminded me that blogs are a way for people to show up as they really are. And that seems to be how the magic of connection happens.
I’m currently reading Amy Tan’s “The Opposite of Fate” which is a collection of personal essays. Much of it is the “backstory” of her books and her writing. As the reader, I get a glimpse into who Amy Tan is and that’s a great feeling.
