That’s the title of an event that I’ll be facilitating for Asian-American women on Sept 21 in Denver. We’ll be looking at how to network in a meaningful and natural way, what the participants know about success and failure in navigating their careers, and what it feels like to tap into a community of women helping women.
My experience with women networking groups is that they can be a powerful support for shaping one’s career. Seek out a vibrant networking group for women and there, you’ll find allies who provide sage advice, pass on leads, and give new perspectives to old problems. All with a hefty dose of encouragement and inspiration. Don’t know of such a group? Then organize one of your own.
If you are interested in attending the event on September 21, please contact missannieguo [at] gmail.com.
My thanks to the sponsors for this event, Miss Asian American Colorado, Sigma Psi Zeta, UC Boulder chapter, and the National Association of Asian American Professionals.
