• Jan 30, 10am-11am MT, Charles Handy on Life, Work, and Organizations. *Free* webcast sponsored by the American Management Association. Handy is a management guru who uses sigmoid curves to describe the life cycle of organizations, industries, and careers. He coined the phrase, "Second Curve," with the idea that the next new thing should be started when the status quo is working just fine. I previously wrote about Second Curves as it applies to careers on my Boundary Crosser blog.

A few of the questions that Handy will be addressing on the webcast:

• Where and how do you learn what you need for life and work?
• If careers for life are now out, what is in?

• Through April 30, 2008. The Coaching Training Institute (CTI) has discounted their coaching fundamentals workshop by almost 30%.
