I’ve gotten some wonderful responses about my recent post on bike riding in Boulder. Readers told me about their own rituals of filling up on life–walks over NYC’s bridges on Sundays, motorcycle rides, and this:
"Just got back from a Girl Scout camping trip this weekend. Our morning alarm was a wild turkey gobbling in the meadow. Heard whipporwhils for the first time in my life. And evenings we were serenaded by frogs. The sky was huge and beautiful, trees just budding out. And food cooked over an open fire tastes so good when you’re hungry."
We all need to re-connect with the simple pleasures of life, as part of a better life.
