I road my bike for the first time this year and saw lots of people walking and enjoying the sunshine. It’s been a long winter in the Denver area, which makes the warm weather all the more special.
As I was putting my bike away in the garage, I glanced out the door to the backyard and found this nice surprise–crocuses blooming. These are always the first of my bulbs to bloom. I know that spring is around the corner when these pop up.
I’m always surprised every year when these flowers bloom–when snow is still a possibility and the trees are bare. Which makes me realize that small delights are part of what makes for living well.
