This must be a red letter day.  Today is my son’s 14th birthday AND Andrea Lee, a pioneer in the coaching industry and author, has just posted an interview with me on her blog, Money, Meaning and Beyond.

First, my son’s 14th birthday. He’s my first-born, so all the memories of being a new mom go with my recollections of his birth. Okay, I won’t get sappy here.  Suffice it to say that time does go by quickly and it emphasizes to me the importance of savoring every moment.  He’ll be out of the house before I know it.

Moving on to the interview with Andrea. Last November, I attended her presentation on using technology to build a coaching business at the International Coach Federation Conference in St. Louis. As an audience member, I made a comment about my podcast, Leading With A Whole New Mind.  A month later, Andrea emailed to ask if I would talk about how I used the book, A WHOLE NEW MIND, to build my business.

Andrea is an advocate of the concept of companion coaching programs. She saw my work as an example of that. Put another way, what’s possible by standing on the shoulders of giants?
